Sophia had an impressive meet with 100% PBs, her fast 10m underwater phases impressing the coaches and rest of the team.
We had a total of 14 finals from Katie P, Lucy M, Magnus P-T, Patrick R-B, Sophia P, Elena H, Ella J, Ian S, Chris A and Ewan S.

Our boys 10-12 years freestyle relay team of Ben R-B, Lohan B, Joshua H and Patrick R-B narrowly missed out on a top 3, taking 4th place on the first day of the competition.
Finally a big shout out to Meg B, Ben H, Harrison J-P, Amy N, Tom J, Lucy M and Ella J for competing in the long- distance events, our biggest number of entries to these events.
Again a massive well done to everyone involved in the county championships, this was our biggest team in many years and yielded an incredible 116 points compared with 22 points from 2019. The swimmers have also gained a total of 9 regional times so far (up from 2 last year) and have broken 27 club records. A great start to 2020, our focus now turns to the Oxford, Gloucester, Bracknell and Luton meets, trying to gain even more regional times ready for the South East Regional Championships in April and May.
